The Reboot Ideas Festival is a first-of-its-kind celebration of the biggest ideas captivating the Jewish world. It will be a multi-disciplinary gathering of cultural visionaries who will reimagine contemporary Jewish life through audacious and uncensored conversations about culture, community and ritual. It features inventive programming that includes iconic speakers, inspired performances, intimate roundtable discussions, thought-provoking exhibitions, immersive rituals, participant-led workshops and delicious culinary experiences.

Ticket price is $850.00. Your ticket to the Reboot Ideas Festival includes the following:  

      • Two full days of engaging content including iconic speakers on the Reboot Ideas Festival main stage, multiple programming tracks that will include immersive workshops, exhibitions, performances, roundtable discussions and immersive ritual experiences.
      • Transportation to and from the Fort Mason festival campus from our hotel partner location
      • Opening cocktail reception on Thursday, March 26th.
      • Amazing locally sourced meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner events during the Festival’s two main program days.
      • Sightseeing opportunities in San Francisco on Sunday, March 29th
    • Reboot Ideas Festival begins promptly at 8 am on Friday, March 27th and concludes late Saturday evening, March 28th. In addition to the two full days of programming, we will be offering early registration and happy hour on Thursday evening, March 26th and tours of San Francisco area sights during the afternoon of Sunday, March 29th.

    • Attendees are responsible for covering the cost of their airfare to and from San Francisco (SFO) and their lodging in the city. Reboot will provide ground transportation to and from the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental San Francisco to the Reboot Ideas Festival campus at Fort Mason during Friday and Saturday programming.

    • Hotel Room Block Information: Reboot Ideas Festival has a hotel room block at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental San Francisco located 999 California St, San Francisco, CA 94108. To receive the block discounted rate please book one of the following ways: Book online by clicking here or Call the Reservations Department at 1-800-662-4455. Please ask for the Reboot rate when booking.

The Reboot Ideas Festival is an invitation-only event, but anyone interested in attending can submit an online application. Visit rebootideasfestival.com/apply to apply.

These applications are reviewed thoroughly and you will receive a response from us once your application has been reviewed. We appreciate your patience, in advance. We are excited to have you join us!  Now that you have been accepted, you should have received a unique registration code in your acceptance email. Please visit rebootideasfestical.com/register and purchase your ticket. Our event has limited spots, so please be sure to purchase your ticket ASAP!

We were overwhelmed by the volume of applications we received in our inaugural year. While we would love to be able to accommodate everyone, unfortunately space is limited. But we encourage you to apply again next year!

Yes! We have a certain amount of rooms held in a room block that we have  established with a local hotel partner. We encourage all of our participants to book their room at this hotel, in doing so you will have access to our discounted nightly rate and shuttle service back and forth from the hotel to our campus. In early 2020 our invitees and attendees can find a day-by-day schedule on the “Agenda” tab of the registration page once a password has been entered. Please note the schedule is subject to change.

Reboot Ideas Festival attendees will be able to build their own schedules, choosing which program sessions that they will like to participate in. In early January 2020, our session portal will open and attendees will be allowed to make their selections.

    • Bring an official photo I.D. You will need this to check in to the event. 
    • From beginning to end, Reboot Ideas Festival is casual all the way. The weather in San Francisco in March is as changeable as it is unpredictable. Layers are the best way to dress.
    • We will have device-charging stations available for all your tablet, laptop, cell phone, and other electronic needs.

Because space is so limited and our audience is carefully curated, invitations are non-transferrable. That said, we can accept transfers on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us at ideasfest@rebooters.net if you would like to request to transfer your invitation. Please note there is a $250 fee for ticket transfers.

All meals on Friday and Saturday are part of your ticket price and will be served on the grounds of our Fort Mason campus. As part of your ticket registration process we will ask you if you have special dietary needs (Kosher, Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free), based on your answer we will ensure that your needs are met.

Though the Ideas Festival program will not be traditional, it will be a spiritual space where the attendees will be able to have a meaningful ritual experience. 

Highlights of Shabbat include:

  • A communal Shabbat dinner and program with all of the festival’s attendees.

  • Opportunities on Friday and Saturday to participate in text study programs with our festival faculty.

  • The program on each day of the festival will consist of multiple tracks featuring iconic speakers, inspired performances, intimate roundtable discussions, thought-provoking exhibitions, immersive rituals, participant-led workshops and delicious culinary experiences. You will pre-register for each of these sessions so you can curate an experience that doesn’t require writing but please be aware that you may have to encounter electronics, video, recording at the festival and in some of it’s programming.

  • A Havdalah program with all the festival’s attendees.
